I not only have over 30 years programming in the Customs Brokerage field but have worked for a brokerage firm during that time. I have done collections, cash entry, billing, rating, data entry, bank reconciliations, duty balancing, document handling, refunds and almost every job related to the industry. This unique blend of programming skills and practical hands on experience gives me a perspective that is rare in any industry. A programmer that has to use his own software on a daily basis realizes the necessity of taking the end user into account.
